Sustainable Growth for Pangasius in Europe

In the framework of Vietnam Fisheries International Exhibition (Vietfish 2014), the Project “Establishing a Sustainable Pangasius Supply Chain in Vietnam - SUPA” will coordinate with the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) to organise the Vietnam Pangasius Forum - Vietfish 2014” with the theme “The sustainable growth for pangasius in European market” on August 6, 2014 in Ho Chi Minh City.

 

The forum is co-organised by SUPA Project, Vietnam Pangasius Forum and VASEP.

 

Main contents of the forum include: report on SUPA activities to support a sustainable pangasius supply chain in Vietnam; report on the Government’s efforts and actions to improve and enhance the image of Pangasius products in the world market; report on Vietnam - EU FTA: Opportunities for the seafood sector; discussion on pangasius outlook in the EU market; ASC Certification: Impacts on pangasius production and market; and group dialogue on how to successfully promote responsible pangasius towards consumers and agree on a joint way forward.
