VCCI to Host Seminar on Export to Canada

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will receive a delegation of TFO Canada, a trade facilitation agency of Canada, during their working visit to Vietnam from October 12 to 17, 2014. Previously, TFO Canada was an agency affiliated to the Government of Canada but it was converted into a non-government, non-profit organisation to carry out government-funded projects to support exporters from developing countries to enter Canada market. TFO Canada is the primary Canadian provider of information, advice and contact for Canadian importers and exporters in developing and emerging countries.

 

The activity is part of a five-year programme supporting competitiveness enhancement and market entry in Canada, funded by the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) and Vietnam was chosen as a priority nation. VCCI in collaboration with TFO Canada and the Embassy of Canada in Vietnam will host a seminar on export to Canada on October 14, 2014 in Hanoi. The event is an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to learn about updated information about market, industries and competitiveness of Vietnamese products in Canada as well as TFO Canada’s support activities and programmes for Vietnamese companies in the coming time.
