Vietnam - Russia Trade Exchange

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) hosted a meeting for a Russian business delegation with leaders of Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) interested in doing business with Russia on October 22, 2014.

 

The working visit of Russian business delegation was within the framework of a long-term “Russia-Vietnam: New Economies” project funded by the Russian State Duma and the Union of Russian Renovation Area Associations.

 

Distinguished attendants to the meeting included Pham Thi Thu Hang - VCCI General Secretary, Strozaeva Lubov Viktorovna - Leader of "Russia - Vietnam: New Economies" Project, and Vietnamese and Russian businesses engaged in the high-tech industry.

 

Strozaeva Lubov Viktorovna emphasised that the project aimed to help Vietnamese businesses access advanced technologies, apply Russian technologies, and expand integration and cooperation opportunities. She added that the effective results of the project proved the importance of suggested trends. The project also introduced cooperation opportunities for both Vietnamese and Russian firms at the meeting.
