GMS Investment Forum to Be Held in Thailand
The Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) was formed in 1992 at the initiative of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). GMS is the most complete regional cooperation programme, comprising Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, and Yunnan and Guangxi provinces of China.
In the framework of the 5th GMS Summit with the heads of state of five GMS member countries, the GMS Investment Forum and GMS Business Forum will be held orderly in the morning and the afternoon of December 19, 2014 in Bangkok, Thailand to call for greater involvement of the private sector in programmes/projects in the Region Investment Framework (RIF) in the 2014-2018 period.
This is a good opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to capture and engage in GMS programmes/projects.
