Saigon 3 Garment Joint-stock Company (GATEXIM) on December 11 received the First-class Labour Medal - its great efforts in reorganisation.
Being a small enterprise in 1990, the company became a joint-stock company in October 2001 and has gained an annual growth of 15 per cent, and pre-tax profit of 50 per cent, and income per capita of VND1.75 million. In 2004, the company invested more than VND20 billion in building and putting two new workshops into operation, bringing the yearly revenues to VND250 billion, up 25 per cent over 2003.
