Three More Ministries Prepared to Join NSW

The General Department of Vietnam Customs - a standing agency of the National Standing Committee for ASEAN Single Window and NSW - recently asked three ministries to review and register administrative procedures relating to the management of exports and imports within their jurisdiction before bringing them to the National Single Window (NSW).

Accordingly, ministries necessarily establish task forces in charge of NSW deployment and appoint personnel to coordinate with the General Department of Customs in the process of implementation and promote the construction of related projects.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh, Head of the National Steering Committee for ASEAN Single Window and NSW, requested the three ministries to quickly prepare for the joining into NSW in October 2015.

However, the General Department of Customs is working with the three ministries for the connection in September 2015 - sooner than the time expected by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh. Once connected, Vietnam will have nine ministries carry out their procedures at the NSW. The six ministries are the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
