Four More Banks to Expand Tax Collection and Payment for Businesses
The General Department of Customs agreed to allow four commercial joint stock banks, namely ACB, SCB, ABBank and BTMU (The bank of Tokyo- Mitsubishi UFJ) to expand their service of tax collection and payment and tax guarantee in electronic environment connected with customs agencies nationwide.
Reportedly, the General Department of Customs signed cooperation agreements on tax collection with ACB on May 22, 2015, with BTMU on March 20, 2015, with ABBank on May 12, 2014 and with SCB on June 15, 2015.
In early time of deployment, the banks will pilot in eight provincial/municipal customs departments, including Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Can Tho, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong and Dong Nai.
The nationwide application will be considered after the pilot period of the four banks.
