The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), in cooperation with PTC, Inc. (USA), a global provider of technology platforms and solutions, recently launched the “Solutions Day 2016: Technology solutions for Manufacturing and Supporting Industry businesses” workshops in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.This is the 4th year in a row PTC, Inc. helped organize this Solutions Day in Vietnam.
Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hang, VCCI General Secretary, said:“Aware of the importance of supporting industries, in the last few years, we have had substantive efforts to invest in and grow supporting industry businesses to lay the groundwork for industrial production development in Vietnam.Yet, obviously, supporting industries in Vietnam are still fledgling and have much to improve, especially in terms of technology.”
“The Solutions Day events can help local manufacturing and supporting industry businesses to gain access to the latest technology trends and solutions in designing, operational management and application of integrated software to make production-manufacturing processes speedier, upgrade quality, diversify product lines, and at the same time enhance connection, compatibility and confidentiality”,Hang shared.
The Solutions Day workshop in HCMC assembled hundreds of corporate participants
The workshop held in the two metropolitan hubs crowded in nearly 200 corporate participants in manufacturing and ancillary industries.In recognizably a highly professional and sizable event for CAD/CAM solutions from one of the most important software makers in USA, at the Solutions Day 2016 event, technical experts, both nationals and expats, from PTC demonstrated PTC’s Creo technology solutions (innovative multi-CAD design solutions) that can help businesses do their design, manufacturing and production faster and in a comprehensive way.In the meantime, PTC, Inc. also showcased the trial version – design and production with the new Creo 4.0 technology – Liveworx, slated to be unveiled sometime toward the end of the year.This is the next version of Creo 3.0 launched in 2015 and making a great success for PTC with dozens of companies around the globe using the application and achieving high performance and efficiency.

In the Solutions Day this year around, PTC, Inc. also brought to local firms’ attention its data management (CDM) and data products management solutions that help businesses to be even more efficient.
