The city is preparing in full swing for 2005 tourism season. The network of roads and bridges has been upgraded. Tourist projects and tours will soon become operational in Non Nuoc mountain, But and Trem beaches, Son Tra peninsula, and Ba Na forest.
The summer tourist festival beginning in early July 2005 will combine traditional culture with world heritage. The music programme "The Sea and Love" will be performed by Vietnamese and foreign artists. The festival includes a sightseeing tour on the Han river, visits to the stone sculpture museum, and traditional games and boat races.
Da Nang tourism association in cooperation with 12 travel agencies from other parts of Vietnam will organise tours for foreign tourists including caravans from Thailand and Laos, Famtrips from Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan.
With the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang (March 29, 2005), the city will be fully decorated and in the best mood to receive Vietnamese and foreign tourists.
