Danang Trade Department disclosed that in the first two months of 2005, the enterprises in the city recorded an export value of US$35.6 million, increasing the export value of commodities and services to US$74.1, realising 15.3 per cent of the year’s plan, and up 19.5 per cent over the same period of 2003.
Local enterprises accounted for US$13.2 million, central enterprises US$19.9 million, FDI enterprises US$12.8 per cent, services US$28.2 million. Industry and handicraft continued to lead with US$29.5 million, followed by aquaproducts at US$11.2 million and agri-forestry products at US$5.2 million.
