FPT Supporting Students to Develop IT Applications 

FPT Technology Investment Development Co. and the Hanoi University of Technology on March 30 signed a cooperation agreement to develop a breeding ground for students’ IT applications of the university as well as other ones.

The breeding ground model aims to help students realise their IT application studies through necessary supports such as infrastructure facilities, services, consultant services, and links to connect students with investors and IT experts.

The initial investment for the programme is scheduled at VND225 million. In September 2004, the Management Research and Consultancy Co. of the university set up the first "breeding ground" with an annual investment of VND750 million, one of 42 projects worldwide funded by the World Bank’s Infodev Programme.
