More Scholarships by Viet Hung Company

The Labour Union of Viet Hung Garment Joint Stock Company has granted Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships to the children of its workers. The 2005 scholarship is the fourth in the effort to encourage the children in study and the workers in the production.

At the ceremony, 90 scholarships (VND500,000 each) and 50 awards (VND300,000 each) were granted. Mr Phan Cong Minh, Director General of the company said: “We wish to contribute a small part in the promotion of education and encourage the workers in production. It is also a display of solidarity of the managers, labour union and traditional clients of the company.”
