Herbalife Nutrition Celebrates Its 13th Anniversary in Vietnam

Premier nutrition company Herbalife Nutrition is celebrating 13 years of presence in Vietnam, with unwavering commitment to helping people improve their nutrition habits to live a healthier life.

Officially starting its operations in Vietnam in 2009, today Herbalife has become one of the 500 largest companies* in Vietnam and a market leader in the nutrition space.

Our achievements in the country over the past 13 years are thanks to the continuous effort from our dedicated distributors, combined with strong demand for our high-quality nutrition products by increasingly health-conscious consumers,” said Mr. Stephen Conchie, Regional President of APAC and China for Herbalife Nutrition.   “Looking ahead, we are committed to building a lasting presence in Vietnam and nurturing a healthier generation of Vietnamese through the power of good nutrition.”

In conjunction with the company’s 13th anniversary in Vietnam, The Major League Soccer’s most successful club – LA Galaxy, which has a multi-year nutrition partnership with Herbalife Nutrition – paid a visit to Ba Chieu Shelter under Women’s Charity Association of HCMC (WOCA). The team spent time playing with the children and teaching fundamental football skills to the pupils, inspiring them to adopt active lives. The team also presented WOCA with a cheque plaque for a  USD 30,000 donation, which will boost nutrition for 150 children in its care, and enable the children in WOCA care who have finished high school to continue their education at colleges and universities.

Herbalife Vietnam's 13th Anniversary also marked the launch of a new Casa Herbalife Program at Nguyen Dinh Chieu School in Hanoi, the 7th Casa center in Vietnam, to help improve daily nutrition for 176 pupils with vision disabilities at this school, with a grant of VND 352 million.  Since the first Casa Herbalife Program launched in 2013 in Vietnam, Herbalife has been partnering with seven charitable organizations in the country to help provide daily nutritious meals to more than 1,100 children in need, with grants totaling over VND 16 billion.

As part of the company’s long-term partnership with Vietnam Olympic Committee (VOC), Herbalife Vietnam joined hands with VOC to organize athletic and nutrition training for 50 Vietnamese coaches and athletes on Dec 13, 2022. The training included discussions of "Nutrition for increasing athletic performance", conducted by Dr. Dana Ryan, Director of Sports Performance and Education for Herbalife Nutrition, and " Rehabilitation for enhancing athletic performance", conducted by Adam Waterson, Head strength and conditioning coach, LA Galaxy Team.

Mr. Vu Van Thang, General Manager for Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia, said: “Inviting sport nutrition experts to Vietnam for athletic trainings is vital. The nutrition foundation we have been building for Vietnamese athletes is to enhance their knowledge of nutrition, and once they understand more about their nutrition needs for different competitions, they can more effectively apply the best approach. We will continue bringing our deep expertise in nutrition to help Vietnamese athletes improve their performance levels.”
