Since 2004, the Amara Saigon Hotel has chosen October 30 to organise its Halloween festival. Guests invited to join the event included foreign diplomats, business representatives and tourism companies operating in Vietnam.

This year’s Halloween party was bigger than that of 2004. The hotel made good preparations from lobby decoration to masquerade items and gifts. The event programme was better designed. Apart from a buffet party, music performance, lottery, and contests on ball control, stamp gluing, counting, singing contest, the organisers presented gifts to best dancer and those who had most impressive masquerade cloths, and made most frightful sounds. Prizes included Thailand tour tickets for two people, and tickets for two people to the Do Su resort in Phan Thiet, and tickets for free use of swimming and fitness practice rooms of the Saigon Amara Hotel.
Tran Nu Tu Nhi, marketing manager of the hotel, said that apart from the Halloween festival, Saigon Amara had organised many other activities to express the hotel’s sincere thanks to its customers. Nhi went on to say that in the coming time, the hotel would offer food at a 220 square metres at the Vietnam-ASEAN Trade, Tourism and Investment Fair organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ASEAN Department, the People’s Committee, the Department of Trade of Ho Chi Minh City from November 16-20, 2005. The hotel would like to take this opportunity to promote and introduce excellent Vietnamese and Southeast Asian food prepared by the hotel’s chefs.
