Tiger Airways to Start Ticket Sales for Danang-Singapore Route
Singaporean budget carrier Tiger Airways will begin selling tickets today on its new route from Singapore to Vietnam’s central city of Danang, local media reported.
The fare will range from US$25 to US$105 one way for the service which is scheduled to start on January 10 next year. Tiger will deploy its Airbus 320s for the thrice-weekly service.
It plans to open a booking office in Danang next year, according to an airline official because of the influx of foreign tourists to the city, it also planned to operate flights to Macao and Taiwan from Danang.
Currently, it operates three weekly flights between Hanoi and Singapore and six between Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore. From next month, it plans to add one more flight a week to both cities.
Tiger, which flies to 10 Asian cities, set up an office in Hanoi in October last year.
