20 Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs Enter the Final Round of Red Star 2005
The Vietnam Young Entrepreneur Association's Central Committee has launched a list of twenty outstanding young entrepreneurs, including three female, selected for the final round of Sao Do (Red Star) Award 2005.
Sixteen of the candidates come from liability companies while the remainder are from joint stock and state-owned enterprises.
In 2004, these enterprises earned VND7,071 billion in turnover, paid over VND327 billion in taxes to the State budget, and created employment opportunities for more than 11,900 local people.
The Red Star award was initiated by the Vietnam Youth Union in 1999 to honor outstanding entrepreneurs with a good personal profile, economic achievements and contributions to social development. The winners are chosen by the VYBA.
The most outstanding entrepreneurs selected in the final round will be officially declared on December 4 and awarded at a ceremony scheduled for inauguration on December 16.
