Toyota Vietnam Introduces New Sedan Innova

Recently, Toyota Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. (TMV) had announced the introduction of a new 8-seat car named Innova, the first model in Innovative International Multipurpose Vehicle (IMV) series introduced in Vietnam, with the aim of creating total new car market trend in Vietnam and bringing the product with beauty as a masterpiece with global styling to consumers.

 

A total of 5 attractive colors will match the style of Innova users: Black Mica, Silver Metallic and Champagne Metallic for Innova G, Super White and Light Green Mica Metallic for Innova J. It will begin on sales at all TMV’s sales network nationwide from January 12, 2006.

 

With the Innova’s sales target of 800 units per month, TMV continuously enhance the leading position in sales and market share of multi-purpose vehicle segment as well as to be the best seller car in all market segments and further strengthen the Toyota brand image with best after-sales services as well. Innova is the best choice for customers with very reasonable and completive price as follow: INNOVA G (5-speed, Manual, 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder, in-line DOHC, VVT-i, EFI) at US$29,900; and INNOVA J at US$26,900.

 

Playing a role in the IMV project, since July 2004, Toyota Vietnam has become one of supply or parts production base for IMV project and exported Innova’s parts like antenna, accelerator pedal and ERG valve to Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Venezuela, South Africa and Argentina. In 2005, TMV’s auto-parts export turnover reaches nearly US$20 million, totally to over US$25 million from the start-up.
