Opening of Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week

On the evening of May 12, nearly 10,000 spectators and visitors from all over attended the opening ceremony of Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week 2025 organized by the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Ha Nam province.

At the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh presented the decisions to recognize 3 National Treasures and 2 National-level relics to Ha Nam province. The three treasures include: Vu Ban bronze drum, currently kept at Ha Nam Provincial Museum; 6 Kim Cuong statues of Doi Son pagoda, currently kept at Doi Son pagoda, Tien Son commune, Duy Tien town and the stone bell of Dieu pagoda, currently kept at Dieu pagoda, Vu Ban commune, Binh Luc district. The two national-level relics are Hung Cong Communal House, Hung Cong commune, Binh Luc district and Quan Pho Communal House, Chuyen Ngoai commune, Duy Tien town.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province Truong Quoc Huy said that Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week 2025 will feature many attractive activities such as fireworks displays, grand music festivals, traditional art performances and street carnivals. This will be an important highlight, contributing to honoring the quintessence of Northern culture, connecting famous tangible and intangible cultural heritages in the locality, turning the land of "Doi mountain, Chau river" into an attractive tourist destination. This activity also raises awareness and responsibility of all levels, sectors and people in preserving and promoting national cultural identity and natural resources for tourism development. Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week 2025 includes a series of activities: "Brilliant Ha Nam" art program; high-altitude fireworks display; World Trilathon Cup and National Trilathon Championship 2025; conference on promoting investment in tourism development in Ha Nam province in 2025; street carnival “Brilliant Summer” in 2025. Along with that is the exhibition of the topics “Ha Nam along the historical line” and “Quintessence of Ha Nam antiques”; scientific seminar on Promoting the value of cultural heritage in the hometown of writer Nam Cao associated with sustainable tourism development; model seminar “Developing rural tourism associated with experiencing traditional craft villages in Ha Nam province”…

Through Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week, the Organizing Committee introduces, promotes, attracts tourists and investors; promotes tourism “Ha Nam - The world's leading cultural destination”; raises awareness and responsibility of the community in preserving and promoting national cultural identity and natural resources to develop tourism.

The opening ceremony also featured the art program “Brilliant Ha Nam” consisting of 3 chapters: “Ha Nam Mountains and Rivers”; “Contemporary Breath”; “Future Pulse – Ha Nam Shines and Spreads”, with the participation of many famous artists and a high-altitude fireworks display, bringing a colorful, unique, emotional feast of sound and light to a large audience.

Ha Nam Culture and Tourism Week is a typical cultural event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification; International Labor Day 1/5; 71 years of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory; 135 years of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday.
