The approval for CPV Food Bình Phước to export processed chicken products to Singapore marks an important step in C.P. Vietnam’s integration into the regional processed poultry supply chain, while reaffirming the company’s capability to meet the stringent quality standards of premium markets.

Mr. Pang Te Cheng, Consul-General of Singapore, shared: “This milestone follows the Singapore Food Authority’s pre-accreditation assessment and inspections at CPV Food Bình Phước. Previously, in March 2025, Singapore had officially approved the company to export heat-processed poultry products, along with canned poultry eggs and meat (excluding beef) sterilised at high temperature and pressure. This regulatory approval represents a significant breakthrough for Vietnam’s livestock and export sector, and is expected to pave the way for other Vietnamese enterprises to access the highly regulated Singapore market. The milestone is also important for Singapore, contributing to enhanced food safety and food security, particularly as the country currently imports around 90 percent of its food consumption. Singapore values its cooperation with Vietnam and looks forward to continuing to work closely with Vietnamese producers to deliver safe, high-quality food to consumers.”

C.P. Vietnam’s processed chicken products are produced under a fully integrated system at the CPV Food Bình Phước complex and are certified to international standards such as HACCP, BRC, ISO 22000 and Halal, meeting stringent export requirements across regional markets. Prior to Singapore, the products had already been approved for import into Japan, Hong Kong, Cambodia and Laos, with Japan alone recording export volumes of 10,000 tonnes as of November 2025.

C.P. Vietnam’s efforts in operating in line with international standards, driving innovation and advancing sustainable production practices have also been recognised at the FMCG Asia Awards 2025 and the Manufacturing Asia Awards 2025. In 2025, C.P. Vietnam became the first enterprise in Vietnam’s poultry sector to be honoured across multiple award categories, including:

  • Sustainability Initiative of the Year for C.P. Vietnam’s SHE&En Management System
  • Consumer Good of the Year for CPV Food’s ready-to-eat fried chicken product line
  • Manufacturing Facility of the Year for the CPV Food Bình Phước processing complex

The Sustainability Initiative of the Year award recognises the SHE&En Management System, the first integrated management model in Vietnam’s food industry to combine standards on safety, health, environment and energy. After more than 18 months of implementation in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001, the system has delivered measurable results, including renewable energy accounting for 38 percent of total consumption, energy savings ranging from 45 percent to 65 percent, annual operating cost reductions of approximately USD 3.2 million, reuse of 68 percent of treated wastewater, and improved workplace safety for more than 18,000 employees.

The Consumer Good of the Year title was awarded to CPV Food’s ready-to-eat fried chicken product line, developed under the Feed–Farm–Food–Sustainability model and supported by advanced automation and strict quality control systems. The products have been exported to Japan since late 2022 and subsequently expanded to Hong Kong, Cambodia and Laos.

In the Manufacturing Facility of the Year category, the CPV Food Bình Phước complex was recognised as one of the most advanced poultry production facilities in Southeast Asia, with a capacity of approximately one million chickens per week, operating fully automated production lines and meeting international certifications including HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRCGS and Halal.

Mr. Wirat Wongpornpakdee, Senior Vice President of Food Business and New Business Development at C.P. Vietnam, said: “Meeting the expectations of premium markets requires long-term and consistent operational discipline. We believe that the acceptance of CPV Food’s processed chicken products in demanding regional markets will help enhance Vietnam’s reputation within high-quality food supply chains.”

He emphasised that, in the coming period, C.P. Vietnam will continue to strengthen sustainable production practices while enhancing export capabilities, thereby improving the competitiveness of Vietnamese poultry products in regional and international markets.

Under its development roadmap, the company plans to expand exports of processed chicken products to the United Kingdom and the European Union, contributing to Vietnam’s long-term ambition to bring high-quality agricultural products to global markets.

As part of the event, CPV Food Bình Phước also awarded 242 scholarships, with a total value of nearly VND 1 billion, to employees’ children. The initiative reflects the company’s commitment to employee welfare and investment in future generations as an integral part of its sustainable development strategy.
