On May 22, 2026, in Vienna, Austria, the Charity Platform — a digital platform built, developed, and operated by MB — will officially be honored at the World Summit Awards (WSA) 2025 in the category of “Government & Citizen Engagement.”

WSA is an international award system initiated within the framework of the United Nations World Summit on the Information Society (UN WSIS), aimed at recognizing digital solutions that create social impact and contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. This year, WSA selected 40 winning solutions from 28 countries worldwide. Notably, the Charity Platform is the only digital solution from Vietnam to be honored at WSA 2025.

Perhaps what earned WSA’s recognition lies not only in the technological aspect, but also in how a Vietnamese digital platform is striving to solve the most difficult challenge in charitable activities: “Trust.”

Through transparent four-digit charity accounts, automatic real-time transaction statements, and a digital ecosystem supporting campaign creation, progress tracking, and public reporting, the Charity Platform aims to ensure that all contribution activities can be monitored by the community in a more transparent, convenient, and effective manner.

After more than five years of operation, the platform has recorded over VND 3 trillion in contributions, more than 6.6 million donations, and nearly 10,000 charity campaigns launched. Many large-scale national and international campaigns have been operated on the platform, including Dear Cuba, support programs for disaster-affected communities, disadvantaged children, and social welfare initiatives.

What is particularly notable at WSA is that solutions are not evaluated as a conventional “investor pitch,” but rather from the perspective of real social impact: what problems the solution addresses for the community, how it creates change for people, and its potential for wider influence.

Winning projects will directly present (pitch) before the international judging panel at the WSA Global Congress in Vienna. Each category selects only one global “Global Champion.”

An MB representative shared: “This is not only a technology award, but also recognition for community-oriented digital solutions developed and operated by Vietnamese people on the international stage.”
