ATAT: “Fire Safety Shield” for Modern Urban Areas

Along with the strong development of Da Nang City, the economic, technological, and logistics hub of the Central region, fire safety requirements are no longer limited to “meeting standards” but have become a key factor for sustainable development. From high-tech zones, data centers, and manufacturing plants to hotel complexes, social housing, and universities, every modern project must prioritize safety first.

In this context, ATAT Consulting, Design and Construction Joint Stock Company is gradually affirming its role as a trusted partner in consulting, designing, approving, and supervising fire safety systems in Da Nang and the Central region.

High requirements for fire safety

Recently, the Party, the Government, and the Ministry of Public Security have set higher requirements for fire prevention and fighting work. Directive 47-CT/TW of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party’s leadership over fire safety, Resolution 43-NQ/TW on developing Da Nang City to 2030 with a vision to 2045, and new technical regulations and standards from the Ministry of Public Security all aim to develop safe, smart urban areas that can adapt to rapid urbanization.

In line with this, Da Nang City Public Security, especially the fire police force, has strengthened inspections, approvals, and technical standard upgrades for key projects, particularly in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, industrial zones, and high-density complexes. This has also created conditions for ATAT to demonstrate its professional capacity through a series of large-scale projects requiring strict technical standards. According to its 2026 capability profile, ATAT has participated in consulting, designing, approving, and supervising various key projects in Da Nang and other provinces and cities nationwide.

One typical project is the Long Hau Da Nang High-Tech Workshop at Hoa Lien Hi-Tech Park. ATAT participated in preparing design documents and obtaining fire safety system approval for high-tech workshops J4-03 and J4-04, with a contract value of VND220 million.

In a high-tech manufacturing environment where automated machinery, electrical systems, and flammable materials operate at high intensity, fire safety requirements are almost as important as production requirements. A small oversight could cause losses of tens of billions of VND, disrupt production lines, and affect the investment environment.

Proving capacity through projects that “speak for themselves”

Not only supporting industrial zones, ATAT has also taken part in real estate, education, and urban infrastructure projects. At the Misa Complex Building, ATAT provided design consultancy and obtained fire safety system approval as the main contractor. Meanwhile, in the Hoa Hiep 4 Resettlement Area Social Housing project, it continued to take part in reviewing and approving the fire safety system design, with a contract value of VND162 million.

These projects have high residential density, requiring warning, evacuation, and firefighting systems to be calculated precisely in every detail.

In particular, participating in the design review and approval consultation for the Da Nang International Data Center (IDC) at Hoa Lien Hi-Tech Park shows that ATAT is gradually approaching digital infrastructure projects, a sector considered the “heart” of the digital economy. In data centers, fire and explosion risks not only cause property damage but also affect data safety, cybersecurity, and the operation of the wider digital ecosystem. Therefore, fire safety standards in this field are very high, requiring the consulting team to not only understand construction engineering but also have a firm grasp of technical specifics.

According to Nguyen The Huy Tuan, Director of ATAT Consulting, Design and Construction Joint Stock Company, given the rapid pace of urban development, fire safety must be seen as part of a sustainable development strategy rather than a final “add-on” stage. “A modern project is not only about architecture or functionality; first of all, it must ensure human safety. We see every drawing and fire safety design plan as directly related to the lives, assets, and reputation of investors. Therefore, ATAT always places technical factors, responsibility, and compliance with standards first,” he said.

Contributing to building safe and smart urban areas

ATAT’s operations are not limited to Da Nang but also extend to other provinces and cities such as Khanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh City. Among these, the training and research facility project of the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City in Nha Trang is a typical example. Participation in joint ventures and large-scale projects shows that the enterprise is gradually improving its competitiveness and adapting to the professionalization trend of the fire safety industry.

Looking at Da Nang’s development, as the city aims to become an international financial hub, an innovation center, and a smart urban area in the region, safety requirements will become increasingly strict. This creates more room for enterprises with technical depth, consulting capacity, and the ability to update international standards such as ATAT.

Without focusing on form, ATAT continues to affirm its position through specific projects, completed contracts, and trust from partners. In a modern urban area where every high-rise building, data center, and high-tech factory requires a solid “safety shield,” ATAT contributes to designing and implementing fire safety systems in line with standards, helping build a safe and sustainable development foundation for Da Nang City and the Central region.
