To supply human resources for the development of Lilama as well as for factories in Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Ba Ria-Vung Tau provinces and Ho Chi Minh City, the school began renovating training programmes for several disciplines like manufacturing mechanics, welding, machinery installation, technical pipe installation, industrial electricity installation and cybernetics from late 2003. At the same time, the school added international criteria, such as ASME, JIS, AWS, API and IEC, to training syllabuses. At present, the school has obtained the international vocational training certificate from the United Kingdom’s City & Guild Organisation. Students of the school have attended competitions in Dong Nai Province, the Ministry of Construction, Vietnam and ASEAN countries.
