Lighting Young Business Talents Contest 2006 Launched
The Lighting Young Business Talents Contest 2006 was launched in Hanoi on May 12 by the Vietnam Television (VTV), the Vietnam Young Entrepreneur Association, the Vietnam Young Entrepreneur Development Assistance Centre and the Business Administration Department of the Hanoi-based Vietnam National University.
In 2006, the VietNamNet E-newspaper supports the contest as an official information sponsor. Candidates must be Vietnamese aged under 28, university graduates or fourth-year students of economics and business administration. Students of economic-related branches can also be admitted to the contest if their study results are good enough. This year, the total prize value is VND905 million (US$56,565), comprising of five golden prizes, five silver prizes and 10 bronze prizes. The deadline for the contest registration is on June 30, 2006.
The Lighting Young Business Talents Contest 2006 is one of the main content of the International Integration Movement for Vietnamese young people that the Prime Minister assigned the Central Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. This annual contest is designed to select potential young talents, who will be then trained to have full knowledge, endless ambition, desire and ability to take over and develop works of their older generations to speed up the national growth. After the contest, winners will be entitled to follow 18-month MBA courses at the Hanoi School of Business (HBS) under the Hanoi-based Vietnam National University.
