The Vietnam Ministry of Planning and Investment and the Indian Ambassador have officially launched a technical assistant project for the Vietnam-India Entrepreneurship Development Center (VIEDC), the foreign country’s first project in Vietnam’s businessmen development.

India will help Vietnam through supplying equipment and technical assistance worth a total of US$150,000 to serve training courses at the center. The first course will have 25 trainees.

Besides, experts from the Indian Business Development Institute will coordinate with VIEDC to directly select learners, arrange teaching programs, train them and support them in paying fees.

The two countries agreed to the project in July 2004.
