Vietnam AutoExpo 2006 to Open late August

From 17 to 21 August 2006 Vietnam AutoExpo, the 2nd Vietnam International Automobile & Supporting Industries Exhibition and Conference, will be held at Vietnam Exhibition & Fair Centre in Hanoi. Co-organizers of the show are the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Industry (IPSI) and the Vietnam Society of Automotive Engineers (VSAE) and C.I.S. Vietnam Advertising & Exhibition Ltd Company.

The exhibition will cover 7,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor space. Around 180 exhibitors and over 50,000 visitors are expected to participate. Vietnam AutoExpo will focus on vehicles such as automobiles, special-purpose vehicles, motorbikes and supporting industries: components, spare parts and accessories; die casting, mechanical processing, welding, thermal processing, plating…

The exhibition also features an interesting accompanying programme and will attract even more industry and government professionals. Also held within the framework of Vietnam AutoExpo 2006 is the ‘Conference on Government Policies and Strategies to develop Vietnam Automobile & Supporting Industries’, a cooperation forum among businesses in the automobile and supplier manufacturing, assembling and trading industries and, importantly, an opportunity for business dialogue between Vietnamese and overseas enterprises.
