According to IDC's latest Asia/Pacific Quarterly LAN Tracker published in June 2006, Juniper Networks, Inc. leads the Asia Pacific Broadband Remote Access Servers (BRAS) market for the 11th consecutive quarter. The report credited Juniper with 46 percent share of the BRAS (high end and gigabit/terabit routing) market in the first quarter of 2006.

The same report also pointed to Juniper’s 51 percent Q106 market share of High End and Gigabit/Terabit routers (defined as routers costing more than USD20,000) in Australia/New Zealand and its 65 percent share in the Q106 ASEAN Core router market.

“These achievements highlight Juniper’s sustained innovation and momentum in important Asia Pacific market segments,” said Adam Judd, Juniper Networks’ vice president for Asia Pacific. “Our leadership in APAC broadband aggregation for almost three years straight is in the context of continued broadband services expansion across the region.”
