Vietnam Seeks New Outlets at Intl Furniture Exhibition in Moscow
Vietnamese woodwork processors and exporters will participate in the 18th International Exhibition of Future, Fittings and Upholstery (MEBEL 2006) to be held in Moscow, Russia from November 21 to 25, aiming to expand their export markets, according to the Ministry of Trade.
The Vietnamese delegation will be organized by the Vietnam Trade Fair & Advertising National Company or VINAXAD under the Ministry of Trade in cooperation with European market and Vietnamese Commercial Affair in Russia.
“This is a very good opportunity for Vietnamese woodwork exporters to enlarge their market because the event, which dedicates more than 46,000sq.m to displaying furniture, is the largest of its kind in Russia and Eastern Europe,” said a VINAXAD’s organizer.
Appreciating Vietnam’s wood processing industry, EXPOCENTR has reduced by around 40 per cent of land lease fee and pledged to try its best to support Vietnamese attendees.
VINAXAD revealed that modern and traditional indoor furniture, public place furniture and indoor decoration furniture are most concerned products in the MEBEL 2006.
Vietnamese woodwork products have been available at some 120 countries and territories worldwide with EU, the US and Japan being the biggest importers while Eastern European is seen as potential outlet.
