Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel's Staff Participates in "Wearing Helmets Together"
Following the ‘wearing helmets together” launched by Park Hyatt Saigon July 2006, From September 2006 towards the end of the year, all the staff of the Hotel will carry out this program. The purpose of the program is to help the staff build a habit of wearing helmets when riding motorbikes so as to minimize traffic accidents.
To carry out this program, the management staff will be the first to wear helmets at least three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to encourage the remaining staff to wear them. If any staff conducts well, he will receive 10 parking coupons at the parking area of the Hotel. If any one does not wear helmet, he will not be allowed to park in the Hotel’ sparking area or will have to pay VND 5,000.
Mr Peter Van Der Ree said “For some people, wearing helmets will be a problem at first but later it will be alright when it becomes a daily routine. It is all for our safety”
Previously, in March 2006 Park Hyatt Saigon worked closely with Asian injuries prevention Fund to give helmets to the teaching staff and students of Do Luong primary School in Ho Chi Minh City.
