With streamlined policies and investment incentives, Long An Province is becoming a reliable point of arrivals for both domestic and international investors. To date, Long An has 39 industrial zone construction projects. Seven projects have been put into operation and the Tan Duc Industrial Park (IP) is regarded as the most potential one.

The Tan Duc IP, situated inside the Tan Duc industrial, residential and service complex in Duc Hoa District, is built by Tan Duc Investment Joint Stock Company, which is an affiliate of the Tan Tao Industrial Zone Joint Stock Company under the Tan Tao Group – the professional and successful manager of industrial zone chains in southern Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City.

The Tan Duc industrial, residential and service complex has an area of 1,159ha, including 535 ha of industrial zone and 422 ha of residential zone, 167 ha of sports and entertainment area and 33 ha of Vam Co Dong river port. After one year of construction date backed to February 2005, the Tan Duc IP of the first phase has completed the compensation work. To date, design activities have finished and infrastructure construction has been well-prepared. By September 2006, the consolidated ground will be handed to households. With the close instruction of the corporate leadership, the ardent support of the local government and the wholehearted devotions of the staff of Tan Duc IP and the Tan Tao Group, the Tan Duc IP has leased over 100 ha with a total rentals of more than US$10 million. If the infrastructure construction is sped up and the land rental is competitive, the IP of the first phase is believed to be filled up within 2006.

The favourably-located Tan Duc IP is adjacent to Binh Chanh District of Ho Chi Minh City along to the Provincial Road 852 (or Provincial Road 10), 20 km away from Ho Chi Minh City downtown, 20 km away from the Tan Son Nhat International Airport, near Duc Hoa Town and 15 km away from Ben Luc Town. Furthermore, the Vam Co container port linking South China Sea and Mekong Delta provinces enables easier import and export activities of local enterprises. In addition, rented workshops, working offices and warehouses meet all standards. The industrial zone is also furnished with a industrial waste treatment plant with a daily capacity of 18,000 cubic metres, a 110KV/220KV - 2x63MVA power supply system, a water supply with a daily output of 48,000 cubic metres, fire engines, central buildings and high-rise apartments for specialists and workers. With preferential land rentals and investment incentives, this will be the best place for investors.

Operated under the ISO9001:2000 international standard system and the ISO14000:2004 environment management system, Tan Duc Co. is an environmentalist with the slogan “Tan Duc always looks to a clean and green environment.” At the same time, the company also successfully builds up a corporate culture to serve tenants as well as take responsibilities before the society and the labourers.

Under the plan for 2006, Tan Duc Co. set a goal to finish compensations for the Tan Duc industrial, residential and service complex in the first phase, enumerate compensations for the second phase, deliver houses for removed residents, check and supervise compensations for the road leading to the IP. The company expects to lease out remaining 80 ha and the rentals for lands and workshops will be applied flexibly. It continues speeding up investment attraction and developing Tan Duc Industrial Zone trademark by marketing activities at trade fairs, exhibitions, customer meetings, charity programs, scholarship grants, relations with international commercial organisations in the locality, economic associations and participations in overseas investment promotion programmes.

Going in tune with the national economic growth, Long An is growing in various fields. Tan Duc Co. strongly believes in the breakthrough successes of Tan Duc IP to bring Long An into a focal economic zone in the southern region.
