Taiwanese Firm Gets License for US$10.5Mln Project
Yonghan, Taiwan’s precise mould producer, yesterday October 3 was licensed to build a factory in northern Hai Duong province with total investment of VND168 billion (US$10.5 million).
The factory is to make electronic products and automatic technologies.
The Taiwanese company has entrusted the An Cu-Vinh Han International Investment Promotion & Construction Joint Stock Company to invest in the building and installing of the new facility under the mode of investment-transfer.
The first phase of the project at a cost of VND116 billion (US$7.25 million) is to construct two workshops on an area of 18,000sq.m, one office building, a five-storey hostel and other extra works.
The second phase with investment of VND52 billion (US$3.25 million) will include an 18,000sq.m workshop and two buildings for experts.
The project, which was also kicked off yesterday, is scheduled for completion in December 2007. When operational, the factory is expected to create jobs for more than 2,000 people.
