Macau Week Opens in Vietnam

The Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) cooperated with the Foreign Service Centre of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs to organise a press conference to introduce the activities of the “Macau Week in Vietnam” event at Sheraton Saigon Hotel on October 10.

 

This is the first time MGTO organised an introductory ceremony for the “Macau Year – World Heritage 2006” in Vietnam. This event also concurred with the official Vietnamese visit of the Chief Executive of the Macau Special Administrative Region. The Macau Week in Vietnam will be opened from October 22 to 15, 2006. MGTO has propagandised activities of the week as well as cultural and tourism uniqueness of Macau to the public.

 

Besides, MGTO and the Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute also held the “Seminar on Vietnam-Macau Tourism and Investment Development in Hanoi, Danang and Ho Chi Minh City.
