Roadside Photo Exhibition to Welcome APEC Summit
The Hanoi Department of Information and Culture and Canon Vietnam Company have cooperated to organise a roadside photo exhibition, called “Hanoi Investment and Development, to welcome the APEC Vietnam 2006 Summit.
The exhibition will display 72 panorama masterpieces by photographer Nguyen Dinh Minh about Hanoi in the fields of economics, culture, society and urban construction.
The exhibition takes place from October 16 to November 28 on the lake side of Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi. Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoa, deputy director of Hanoi Department of Information and Culture, said, after the exhibition, these masterpieces will be hung on major roads in Hanoi.
On the occasion of the Hanoi Liberation Day Anniversary (October 10), several photos were displayed at Ly Thai To Garden, Hanoi from October8-15.
Canon sponsored US$40,000 to the exhibition.
