Toyota to Launch Camry 2007 in Vietnam Next Month
Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) will sell Camry 2007 in the Vietnamese market in late November 2006 after it explores customers’ feedbacks at the Vietnam Motor Show 2006, a corporate representative said.
The Camry 2007 has give successes to Toyota in the world largest auto markets like the United States and China, he said.
However, the representative rejected to give specifications of the new model until the market availability.
TMV said 3.5L V6 Camry 2007 is a symbol of success and might.
“We have high hopes for the Camry 2007 on the Vietnamese market although its sales are not as high as Innova model as Camry is a deluxe model,” said Nobuhiko Murakami, General Director of TMV said.
According to the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), Toyota Vietnam sold 9,622 automobiles in Vietnam in the first nine months of 2006, up 16 per cent on-year, including 89 Camry 3.0 and 360 Camry 2.4.
