Passing Propaganda Plan for APEC 2006 Meeting Week

On November 3, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem, who is the chairman of the National Committee for APEC, ratified the Propaganda Plan for the APEC 2006 Meeting Week.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Sub-Committee for Propaganda - Culture under the Department of Information and Press of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to constantly contact and exchange information with the Sub-Committee on Content and the Sub-Committee on Reception to update the situation and publicize the most exact information about activities of the APEC 2006 Meeting Week.

On the same day, upon the request of the Ministry of Culture and Information, Khiem agreed to organise Vietnam-Japan Cultural Exchange Forum, which replaces the Vietnam-Japan Cultural Exchange Committee.
