Australian PM Hands Scholarships to RMIT Vietnam's Students, Lecturers

Australian Prime Minister John Howard presented the prizes of excellent lecturers and students of RMIT Vietnam International University in 2006 at a graduation ceremony of held in the Ho Chi Minh City-based Municipal Opera House on November 20 on occasion of his visit to Vietnam for the APEC 2006.

The Prime Minister delivered the awards to Excellent Lecturer Amy Hickman and Outstanding Student Nguyen Huu Tri. Also at the ceremony, Professor Dennis Gibson, Chairman of RMIT University, handed graduation certificates to 242 bachelors and masters of commerce, IT, multimedia, education and business administration. This is the largest volume of graduate from RMIT Vietnam to date.
