Vinh Hao Mineral Water: A Favourite Drink in Vietnam

In 1928, Vinh Hao Spring Water was the first Vietnamese mineral water on the market. After nearly 80 years, Vinh Hao is still a favourite mineral drinking water thanks to its nature and quality. Vinh Hao has been voted the “Vietnamese High Quality Products” for more than 10 years and listed on the 100-top brand hallmark.
 
The French rated the quality of Vinh Hao mineral water as Bicarbonate Natrium, which is similar to Vichy of France and is good for digestion and excretion. In 1928, the Governor-general of Indochina signed a decree for the establishment of SOCIÉTÉ CIVILE D’ ETUDES DES EAUX MINÉRALES DE VINH HAO, which was allowed to carry out exploitative researches and commercial production. Since then, Vinh Hao served not only the Vietnamese market but also the entire Indochina. With the premium quality, Vinh Hao mineral water was named Vichy Indochina. Therefore, prior to 1975, Vinh Hao was considered a symbol of the bottled mineral water industry of Vietnam and was the unique in Vietnam to supply waters to hospitals. After nearly 80 years, the mineral ingredients are still the same.
 
In 1995, Vinh Hao went public with two main shareholders, namely Binh Thuan Province People’s Committee and Viet A Bank. The company was restructured and equipped with modern US automatic technologies. Since then, sales have risen, for example, 22 million litres of mineral waters of all kinds in 2001 and 40 million litres in 2005 (an increase of 81.8 per cent). Vinh Hao mineral water has won the trust of domestic consumers.
 
To survive in a severe market with many mineral water trademarks, Vinh Hao has built business strategies, improved management methods, tightened financial management, reduced business costs, enhanced capital use efficiency, improved customer satisfaction quality, researched consumer tastes, diversified products, expanded distribution networks and improved product quality. Currently, Vinh Hao Mineral Water Joint Stock Company is adapting itself to reach the GMP, HACCP and ISO9000:2005 standards with 2006.
 
In addition, the company has attached much importance to the close link between the manufacturer, distributors and consumers. Vinh Hao never stops expanding its current markets and seeking new ones. Vinh Hao mineral waters will soon return to the US and Australian markets. (In 2002, Vinh Hao was proud of being the first Vietnamese mineral water to be exported to the US, Australia, Hong Kong(China) and Chinese Taipei.
 
To satisfy all customer tastes, Vinh Hao has five groups of mineral water products: Natural mineral water (carbonated or non-carbonated) with essential micro minerals of K, Na, Ca and Mg; Soft drinks (lemonade, orangeade, etc); Energy drinks (Olympia and spirulina); Alcoholic soda and bottled VIHAWA. Vinh Hao products can satisfy all customer requirements.
