HASTC Lists 20 Stocks

On November 28, 2006, Bim Son Cement Joint Stock Company and Bao Minh Insurance Company listed their stocks, respectively coded BCC and BMI, on the Hanoi Securities Trading Centre (HASTC), raising the total listed stocks on the Hanoi bourse to 20.

 

Bim Son Cement Joint Stock Company listed 90 million shares with face value of VND10,000, ranking the third at the HASTC in terms of listed shares.

 

Bao Minh, which has a chartered capital of VND1,100 billion (US$68.8 million), listed 43.4 million shares with a total value of VND434 billion (US$27 million) on the over-the-counter (OTC) market. To date, the HASTC has 683.4 million listed shares, equivalent to VND6,834 billion (US$427.12 million). The volume of BMI shares freely changed hands on the market is limited (nearly 5 million stocks) but the shares still bring in opportunities for investors.
