Japanese Firm to Build 1,200MW Plant in Vietnam
Japanese company J-power has just been licensed to construct a two-turbine thermal power plant with combined capacity of 1,200 megawatts in the central coastal province of Phu Yen, state-run Electricity of Vietnam said.
The plant will be located in Xuan Phuong Commune, Song Cau district, Electricity of Vietnam added.
The chairman of the provincial People’s Committee recently signed the decision allowing the firm to complete all procedural steps for the investment.
