Vietnamese PM Pledges Favorable Conditions for Japanese Investors
The Vietnamese government will create favorable conditions for Japanese investors to successfully do business in the country, emphasized Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung at talks with a delegation of the International Friendship Exchange Council of Japan in Hanoi on March 5.
The Japanese delegation was headed by Shunsuke Inamori, the Former President of Ajinomoto group.
The visit aimed to survey Vietnamese market and the country’s investment environment.
Dung stressed that the relationship between Vietnam and Japan has been developing, and the government and people of Vietnam would do their utmost to bring bilateral relations to a new height.
He briefed the guests on Vietnam's achievements after 20 years of renovation. He said Vietnam has so far signed bilateral cooperation agreements with more than 70 countries, including Japan. Japan has become a leading investor and the number-one trade partner with Vietnam, he added.
Dung also expressed his wish that the visit would achieve satisfactory results and contribute to the development of bilateral relations.
For his part, Shunsuke Inamori expressed hope that the Vietnamese government would continue creating favorable conditions for Japanese firms in Vietnam in the coming time. (The People, Liberated Saigon, VNA)
