France Helps Vietnam Fight against Fake Goods

A workshop on patent and intellectual property protection in pharmaceutical field was held in Hanoi on April 4 by the Vietnam Pharmaceutical Association (VNPCA) in coordination with the Ministry of Health and with the assistance of French medicine enterprises (LEEM) and laboratories.

This seminar is aimed to Vietnamese pharmaceutical laboratories and authorities to further understand different kinds of patents and intellectual property protection for the sake of community health in Vietnam and sponsorship to new drug study programmes.

Ambassador to Vietnam Jean-François Blarel emphasised the importance of France-Vietnam cooperation in the pharmaceutical field and the France role in the fight against faked drugs in Vietnam.
