Largest Textile-Dyeing-Garment Complex Built in Central Vietnam

ITG-Phong Phu Ltd. Co. started construction on a US$80-million textile-dyeing-garment complex, the largest of its kind in central Vietnam, in Hoa Khanh Industrial Park, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang City on March 29, 2007. Construction opening was witnessed by the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Trade, Da Nang City People’s Committee and Vietnam Textile and Garment Group.

 

The US’s International Textile Group (ITG) contributed 60 per cent of capital and the remaining 40 per cent was made up by Phong Phu Corp. The complex is expected to begin production in late 2007, providing jobs for some 1,500 workers.
