China Tianjin Biz Delegation Visits Vietnam
A group of nearly 100 businesspeople of 50 companies in Tianjin City, China arrived in Vietnam to boost trade with Vietnam and attended the Vietnam International Trade Fair, Expo 2007, in Hanoi from April 4-8.
The objective of this visit was to create a breakthrough in economic and commercial relationship between Vietnam and Tianjin City. The business delegation organised two large-scaled seminars, one in Hanoi on April 3 and another one Ho Chi Minh City on April 10.
In 2006, the Vietnam-Tianjin two-way trade revenues reached US$200 million. At present, some 800 companies in Tianjin have business contacts with Vietnamese partners.
