Project for the Promotion of Industrial Maintenance
On 11 May 2007, 40 representatives from 14 Vietnamese industrial companies as well as from various consulting companies joined the Vietnam Cleaner Production Centre for the launching of its project for the promotion of Industrial Maintenance in Vietnamese industry. The expert provides 30 Vietnamese experts with essential skills in industrial maintenance during a 3-day workshop that takes place in Hanoi from 19 to 21 June. This training workshop, the first of a series of three, covers topics as equipment knowledge, maintenance planning and organization, and corrective and preventive maintenance. From 22 to 28 June, the Belgian and the VNCPC experts, launch demonstration projects in three selected pilot companies.
This mission will be followed by three others in September and December 2007 and in March 2008. After implementation of the current maintenance project, the Wallonia-Brussels cooperation will support a similar project on another topic: integrated water management in the textile industry. This second project will take place from mid-2008 until the end of 2009 and will also be implemented by VNCPC.
