On the 60th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27, 2007, Phu Thai Group Joint Stock Company will coordinate with Hanoi Youth Union, Vietnam Red Cross Society and the Red Cross Associations in five outlying districts to organise the “Free health check - drug presentation and gifts for the community health” programme in Hanoi’s five districts of Dong Anh, Gia Lam, Tu Liem, Soc Son and Thanh Tri. The beneficiaries are poor families of war invalids and martyrs.
The programme reflects the Vietnamese people’s spirit of gratitude and heart of mercy for the poor. This is also an active response of Phu Thai Group to the “Participating in the year of gratitude movement” launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front in 2007.
Under the programme, Phu Thai Group presented 50 scholarships to 50 poor students with excellent study results in the five districts.
