PetroVietnam Posts Service Revenues at US$1Bln in Jan-June

The State-owned oil monopoly PetroVietnam said its service revenue reached VND16 trillion (US$1 billion) in the first half this year, accounting for 18.9 per cent of the company’s earnings.
 
Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group said many of its affiliates recorded very good business performances in the six-month period, citing its PetroVietnam Insurance Corp. fulfilled 70 per cent of its full year revenue target with VND1.12 trillion (US$70 million).
 
The unlisted PetroVietnam said its revenue increase 2.5 per cent on year between January and June to VND84.6 trillion (US$5.29 billion), including US$3.76 billion from crude oil export, down 10 per cent on year.
 
Besides, PetroVietnam supplied 3.1 billion cubic meters of gas and produced 370,000 tons of nitrogenous fertilizers and others.
 
An official said PetroVietnam is set to target at VND168.3 trillion (US$10.5 billion) revenues in 2007.
 
PetroVietnam plans to produce 16.8 million tons of crude oil, mostly for export, 7.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas and produce 680,000 tons of fertilizer this year. (The People)
