Int'lPort Invests US$267Mln to Build Vung Tau Seaport
Saigon Vietnam International Port Ltd will build Phu My general maritime port in Tan Thanh district with total investment capital of VND4.27 trillion billion (US$267 million), state media said.
The company has been set up under the approval of Ba Ria Vung Tau's People Committee
Construction will start at the beginning of next month and completion is slated for the end of 2010.
Saigon Vietnam International Port Ltd, Co is a 30:70 joint venture between Saigon Commerce Construction and Investment Ltd, Co and the Luxembourg-based Hutchison Ports Mekong Investment Group. (Transport)
