PM Okays 4th Air Transport Co in Vietnam
Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung November 28 agreed to the Ministry of Communications and Transport's proposal to grant a business license on air transport to the Vietjet Aviation Joint Stock Company, or Vietjet.
The approval will make Vietjet become the fourth of its kind in Vietnam together with Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines and Vasco.
Vietjet, which has a total registered capital of VND600 billion, will operate in transport of regular public passengers and cargo, general aviation aircraft, and associated aviation support activities.
The company's head office is located in Ba Dinh district, Hanoi. (
