Vinamilk Profits Surpass 2007 Target in Jan-November

Vinamilk, Vietnam's top dairy company, earned VND923 billion (US$57.7 million) in total profits in the first 11 months, exceeding the yearly target by 2.8 per cent, the firm said on its website Friday.
 
The company's 11-month revenues reached VND6.22 trillion (US$388.75 million), accounting for 83.7 per cent of the full-year target.
 
VNM is the second largest firm among 130 listed companies on the Hochiminh Securities Exchange, with market value of VND28.6 trillion, behind Sacombank.
 
Vinamilk is preparing to list on the Singapore Stock Exchange next year. However, it did not reveal detailed information.
 
The Ho Chi Minh City-based firm had aimed to increase its profits by 22.7 per cent to VND898 billion (US$56.1 million) this year on revenues of VND7.43 trillion (US$4643.4 million).
