Vietnam Produces 3.94 Mln Tons of Crude Oil, 1.97 Bln Cubic Meters of Gas in Q1

Vietnam is estimated to have produced 3.94 million tons of crude oil in the first quarter of this year, up 0.5 per cent on year, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
 
The country brought ashore over 1.97 billion cubic meters of natural gas in the three-month period, up 1.2 per cent on year, according to ministry.
 
The country’s output of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is forecast to hit over 85,400 tons in the period, up 9.8 per cent on year, it said.
 
Vietnam is estimated to have exported more than 3.49 million tons of crude oil worth over US$2.62 billion in the first quarter of this year, up 48.1 per cent on year in value but down 9.9 per cent in volume, said the General Statistics Office (GSO). (Investment)
