Vietnam, Korea Venture Builds US$110-Mln Housing Complex

Tahami-Jane E&C Korea Ltd. Co, a Vietnam-South Korea joint venture, has recently broken ground on a VND1.8 trillion (US$110 million) housing complex in Ho Chi Minh City, the local Young People said March 31.
 
The company, jointly set up by Vietnamese company Tan Hai Minh and South Korean partner Jane E&C, will develop the project on a 9,000-hectare site in Thu Duc district.
 
The complex will include 151 houses, 17 villas and 14 blocks of 18-story apartments, which will accommodate approximately 6,200 people.
 
Construction on the project is expected to be complete by 2012, said Pham Tan Hai, CEO of Tan Hai Minh.
 
He also added that his company makes up 60 per cent in the venture while Korean firm holds the remaining 40 per cent. (Thanh Nien Daily)
